Arts environments...
-
Provide a supportive space to be creative and improve confidence
-
Offer opportunities to process and express feelings about stuttering
-
Support cognitive, emotional, and social development
-
A community approach...
-
Lets participants know they are not alone in their experiences
-
Gives space to stutter openly without shame or stigma
-
Creates opportunities for connection and socializing
-
At SPACE, we believe that our programming should be affordable and accessible to all.
That's why we use a Tiered Pricing Model, which ensures that people who stutter from all backgrounds can access our services.
Our model offers rates from $400-0 for our 8 week program, and we let YOU decide how much is right for you to pay! No application or proof of income necessary - just select the option that's best for you. No matter how much you choose to pay, you will still have full access to our all of our services.
And the best part? All contributions go directly to our program staff, so you can help us pay our Teaching Artists a fair wage.
Absolutely!
At SPACE, the arts are just one of the tools we use to explore community and self-acceptance. For most participants, sessions involve conversation, games, and connection through shared interests. For some, it can also include writing, drawing, poetry or acting. Whether you love being creative, or just want a space to connect with others who stutter, our programs are right for you. We design the experience around your interests and needs!
